Golden Bobbins, a regional group of lacemakers, will hold its fall meeting Saturday at the Tyvola Road Senior Center in Charlotte.
The event will include demonstrations of lace making as well as other displays. Vendors will also have a wide array of materials for sale.
Golden Bobbins has members in Rowan, Stanly and several other counties in the greater Charlotte area. The members are dedicated to all the textile arts involving lace. Members make bobbin lace, weave, tat, crochet, spin, quilt and embroider.
The fall event takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tyvola Senior Center, 225 Tyvola Road. The public is welcome.
