Genealogy workshop offered Oct. 25

"Finding Our Ancestors," a free genealogical workshop, will be offered from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Hurley Room of Rowan Public Library.
The workshop will go over basic genealogy skills and answer questions about DAR, SAR and CAR memberships.
Interested individuals must pre-register because space is limited to 35 people. Call 704-639-9845 to pre-register.
The workshop is conducted by DAR-trained genealogists and is open to anyone. The sponsor is the Elizabeth Maxwell Steele Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
