Blotter - Money, medications, gasoline stolen from house undergoing repairs

Money, medication and 15 gallons of gasoline were stolen from a Rowan County home undergoing repairs, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.

Linda Daina Allman, 570 Allman Road, Mooresville, reported Oct. 7 that the items valued at $780 were stolen Sept. 10.

In other Sheriff's Office reports:

- Frank's Pawn Shop, 107 N. Main St., was the victim of fraud by false pretense involving stolen property between Aug. 6 and Oct. 7.

- Justin Marcus Boyd, 18, was charged Oct. 7 with misdemeanor larceny of checks at 935 W. Innes St. He is accused of taking the checks from Jack Lucas Boyd, 285 Waggoner Road.

- Christopher Scott Shackleford, 128 Strawberry Lane, reported $10 in currency stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at his home the night of Oct. 5.

- Anthony Todd Bailey, 48, was charged Oct. 7 with possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of North Shaver and East Liberty streets.

- Jimmy Shane Wolford, 1025 Gracebrook Drive, reported a wallet stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at his home the night of Oct. 5.

- Arthur Mac Abernathy, 718 N. Chapel St., Landis, reported a $375 chain saw stolen from his truck while it was parked at his home between Sept. 20 and 28.

- A juvenile was charged Oct. 6 with possession of a weapon, a Swiss Army knife, on school grounds at Southeast Middle School, 1570 Peeler Road.

- Travis Damon Gillespie, 132 Shoaf Ridge Road, reported two handguns stolen from his home by a burglar the night of Oct. 6.

- A 63-year-old man reported he was robbed at knife-point at his Glover Road home just before 9 p.m. Oct. 7.

- Cathy Diane Adams, 26, was charged Oct. 7 with misdemeanor child abuse.

- James Gelinas, 46, was charged Oct. 7 with communicating threats at 332 Cedarbrook Drive, Kannapolis.

- Wilma R. Hall, 44, was charged Oct. 7 with simple assault at 332 Cedarbrook Drive, Kannapolis.

- Eva Denise Prater, 34, was charged Oct. 7 with simple assault at 111 Cedarbrook Drive, Kannapolis.

- William Henry Kazee, 38, was charged Oct. 7 with assault inflicting serious injury at 111 Cedarbrook Drive, Kannapolis.

- Latesha Blake Daniels, 33, was charged Oct. 7 with two counts of felony trafficking in heroin.

- Nicole Erin Lorenzen of China Grove reported the theft of medication, golf clubs, tools in a toolbox and CDs in a case from the trunk of her car while it was parked at Dan Nicholas Park, 6800 Bringle Ferry Road between noon and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5. Total loss was $1,705.

- Tiffini Maria Long, 1006 Webb Road, reported a burglar broke into her home the night of Oct. 7.

- Benjamin Franklin Johnson, 27, was charged Oct. 8 with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance during a license check on Stokes Ferry Road at Rocky Hill Road.

- Robert Sifford of Rockwell reported $75 worth of copper wire stolen Oct. 8 from 1195 Long Creek Lane.

- Copper tubing valued at $2,000 was stolen the night of Oct. 7 from an EST General Contractors of Clinton building site at 1305 Julian Road.

- Jonathon Stanley, 179 Blue Heron Road, reported power tools valued at $359 stolen from his home the night of Oct. 7.

- A burglar broke into William Russell Kidd's home at 1480 Wyatt Grove Church Road, Richfield, the night of Oct. 7.

- Jonathan Derek Hager, 26, was charged Oct. 8 with misdemeanor forgery of a financial transaction card.

- Harold Clinton Stoner, 55, was charged Oct. 8 with communicating threats at 12145 Stokes Ferry Road, Gold Hill.

- Andre Jermaine Wall, 34, was charged Oct. 8 with assault on a female at 914 N. Long St., East Spencer.

- Brandon Tyler Massey, 30, was charged Oct. 8 with felony taking indecent liberties with children.

- Christopher Lee Carter, 23, was charged Oct. 8 with assault on a female at 5165 Millbridge Road.

- Richard Walter Trombley, 60, was charged Oct. 8 with assault on a female at 283 Stafford Estates Drive.

- Porshia Walker, 21, was charged Oct. 8 with misdemeanor larceny.
