Kannapolis man charged with auto theft

Rowan County Sheriff's deputies charged a Kannapolis man with auto theft Sunday. Reports said Emmanuel Delgado Belman, 18, of 943 Angie Ave., Kannapolis, stole a 1995 Honda Civic from Miguel Ochoa. The car was valued at $4,000.
Belman was placed under $5,000 bond, and his first appearance in Rowan County District Court is scheduled for Wednesday.
