Someone broke into the mother-of-the-bride's car while she was at the wedding, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.

Linda Phillips Gaylor of China Grove reported items valued at $40 were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at 550 Sloan Road, Mount Ulla, Sept. 20.

In other Sheriff's Office reports:

- Four tires and rims and a side mirror were stolen off a vehicle at Magical Motors, 3787 Bringle Ferry Road, between Sept. 19 and 22. Total loss was $1,300.

- Melvin Eugene Maxwell was charged Sept. 22 with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following the execution of a search warrant at 245 Owl Drive.

- Gilbert Lamar Hailey was charged Sept. 22 with possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following the execution of a search warrant at 170 Ryan St.

- A burglary was reported Sept. 22 at Ellis Community Store, 2040 E. Ridge Road.

- Joseph Allen Lasley, 19, was charged Sept. 22 with assault on a female at 330 Country Place Drive, Rockwell, based on a complaint by Emily Anne Paul.

- A 21-year-old female reported Sept. 22 that she had been assaulted Sept. 15 at 5915 Southern Lane.

- Darrin Scott Brown of Faith reported a $450 air condensing unit stolen from 113 Castle Drive between Sept. 19 and 21.

- Emma Fisher Ellis, 3585 Woodleaf Barber Road, Cleveland, reported vandals broke a window in her vehicle while it was parked at her home Sept. 21 and 22. Damage totaled $100.

- Timothy Ray Kluttz, 670 Rhododendron Drive, reported yard equipment valued at $1,750 was stolen from his property the night of Sept. 21.

- Jan Renee Collins, 18280 Dooley Road, Cleveland, reported jewelry valued at $6,920 stolen during a burglary at her home between Sept. 20 and 22.

- Rita Kay Deviney, 16665 Stokes Ferry Road, reported a heat pump and satellite dish stolen from her home between Sept. 3 and 22. Total loss was $4,600.

- Tiffany Heather Williams, 22, was charged Sept. 22 with misdemeanor possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule III controlled substance at 1625 Hollywood Drive.

- Maria Regina Fleck, 1220 N.C. 801, Woodleaf, reported jewelry stolen during a Sept. 22 burglary at her home.

- Billy F. Walters, 8139 Longbriar Drive, Kannapolis, reported two guns and a box of coins stolen during a Sept. 22 burglary at his home. Total loss was $1,440.

- Matthew Alan Seaford, 24, was charged Sept. 22 with violation of a domestic violence protective order.

- Matthew Lee Price, 19, was charged Sept. 22 with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance.

- Clayton Palmer, 41, was charged Sept. 22 with simple assault at 6653 Roberts Drive, Kannapolis.

- Dianne Lee, 220 Eastland Drive, reported $6,480 worth of jewelry and bathroom cleaner stolen from her home between Sept. 8 and 21.

- Wayne Mitchell Anderson of Kannapolis reported he had been the victim of credit card fraud between April 8 and Sept. 22 at 1050 Sidney Drive.

- Christopher Randal Masingo reported a burglar broke into a business at 3870 Statesville Blvd. Sept. 23.

- Billy F. Walters, 8139 Longbriar Drive, Kannapolis, reported items stolen during a Sept. 22 burglary at his home.

- A burglar stole $970 worth of construction equipment from a Sifford's Construction building site at 1195 Long Creek Lane the night of Sept. 22.

- Kermit Glenn Parks, 130 P{arks Drive, Kannapolis, reported two plows, a scrap blade and hitches stolen from his property the night of Sept. 22. Total loss was $3,000.

- Lee H. Leslie reported Sept. 23 that two exhaust stack pipes valued at $1,600 were stolen off a vehicle parked at Lee Leslie Enterprises, 210 Performance Road, Mooresville, between Aug. 31 and Sept. 5.

- Eddie Talmadge Jenkins, 23, was charged Sept. 23 with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance at 1625 Hollywood Drive.

- Melissa Marie Coffey, 145 Josie St., Rockwell, reported items valued at $380 stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at her home Sept. 24.

- Romus Demond Ellis, 28, was charged Sept. 23 with felony habitual felon.

- Carla Long Lowe, 41, was charged Sept. 23 with assault with a deadly weapon at 680 St. Stephen's Church Road, Gold Hill.

- Millisa Jenne Sierawski reported Sept. 24 that she had been a victim of check forgery.

- A 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were charged Sept. 24 with possession of a controlled substance at West Rowan High School.

- Becky Lee Randolph reported money stolen from her purse Sept. 23 or 24 at 1025 St. Luke's Church Road.

- Melissa Marie Coffee, 145 Josie St., Rockwell, reported items stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at her home Sept. 24.

- David Dubose reported items were stolen off his truck while it was parked at 170 Gwynn St. the night of Sept. 23.

- Vandals on bikes damaged the Donny's Western Store building at 12725 U.S. 52, Gold Hill, the night of Sept. 23.

- A burglar removed items from a Carolina Quarries storage shed at 280 Comolli Road, Rockwell, between Sept. 19 and 22.

- Several radiators and batteries were stolen the night of Sept. 23 from Joe Ervin Grading, 350 Ervin Woods Drive, Kannapolis.

- Copper wire and tubing were stolen between Sept. 1 and 24 from under a house being built by Rollins Construction Co. at 1056 Gillian Drive, Rockwell.

- Randy Wayne Morris, 435 Panther Point Road, Richfield, reported the power meter had been removed from his home Sept. 24.

- Kimberly Ann Treece, 29, was charged Sept. 24 with misdemeanor larceny.

- Travis Michael Hall, 21, was charged Sept. 24 with felony obtaining property by false pretenses.

- John Francis Gallagher, 18, was charged Sept. 24 with felony first-degree burglary.

- Bradley Paul Blymyer, 24, was charged Sept. 24 with felony robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons.

- Darrell Wayne Parker, 44, was charged Sept. 24 with felony larceny.

- Warren Anthony Harris, 29, was charged Sept. 24 with assault on a female at 249 Gallimore Road.
