MISENHEIMER — Mary Ellen Goldstein of Charlotte was recently named director of institutional research and assessment at Pfeiffer University.
Goldstein, who previously worked in a similar capacity at Mitchell Community College in Statesville, began her duties at Pfeiffer earlier this month. She has also been executive director of institutional effectiveness and director of institutional research at Holyoke Community College in Massachusetts and, prior to that, worked for several N.Y. companies.
At Pfeiffer her primary responsibilities include analyzing and reporting student and administrative information, conducting and deciphering surveys and focus group data. She has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
