Back-to-school event tomorrow

The Juneteenth Committee, First Legacy Federal Credit Union and Wal-Mart will sponsor a back-to-school event today at the community center on Lafayette Circle.
The event, from noon-4 p.m., is for children ages 7 to 14.
The theme for the event is "The Celebration of Family and Community" and the purpose is to help with school supplies and promote the goals of Juneteenth.
Refreshments will be served noon-1 p.m. There will be games and a talent show, as well.
