Salisbury Police say a couple was bound, beaten and robbed in a home invasion Monday morning.
Ray and Martha Baker told police two people entered their Steven Drive home, pointed a gun at Martha, beat Ray and took some items from the home.
Ray Baker said the doorbell rang at about 2:45 a.m. When he went to answer the door, he noticed the deadbolt was unlocked, but the main door was locked.
When he opened the door, a man told him there was something outside he needed to see. The man punched him in the ribs.
Ray Baker was tied with a plastic zip tie and a towel was placed over his head. Martha Baker's hands and feet were bound and a cloth was placed over her head.
The man then demanded some hydrocodone.
The two men ransacked the couple's home and stole money, credit cards, a rifle, a revolver, video games and a video game console. The incident took place over two hours.
One of the suspects is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches, younger than 25 years old. He was wearing a blue ball cap with KC written on it. He was carrying a black pistol.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
