Five people were sent to the hospital Monday evening after a one-vehicle wreck on Mooresville Road.
Lauren Elise Dull, 20, of 637 Williamson Road #105, Mooresville, was driving her 2000 Nissan west on N.C. 150/Mooresville Road when she lost control of her.
According to N.C. Highway Patrol Trooper W.D. Greene, Dull, the driver, was charged with reckless driving.
Greene said Dull ran off the right side of the road. She overcorrected, the car overturned three times and came to rest in a nearby field.
Dull had four passengers — James Steven Small II, 20, of 100 Moore Farm Lane, Mooresville; Samuel Grant Corey, 21, of 13508 Moores-ville Road, Mooresville; Sabrina Lynn Lengle, 37, of 13412 Mooresville Road, Mount Ulla; and Lengle's son, Seth Justin Field, 7, also 13412 Moores-ville Road.
The driver and all passengers were all sent to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Dull's Nissan was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
The wreck happened at 6:40 p.m.
