Cabarrus graduates

The following area students graduated May 6 from Cabarrus College in Concord:

Rockwell: Kimberly Ashlyn Mabrey Barnhardt, cum laude, bachelor of science in health services management.

Salisbury: Autumn Marie Ryan, summa cum laude, bachelor of science in nursing; Amanda Marie Montgomery (magna cum laude), associate of science in occupational therapy assistant; Cassie Lynne Kizziah (magna cum laude) and Molly Mae Lassiter, associate of science in surgical technology; Brandon Christopher Gunning (magna cum laude), diploma in surgical technology; Jonathan Samnuel Abernethy (cum laude), Jessica Lynn Eller, Meredith Lee Gobble, Brittany Danielle Gullett, Rachel Elizabeth Hinshaw, Michelle Hutchinson (cum laude), Jessica Faye Lyons, Brittany Michelle McDuffie, Annette Marie Wilson, associate degree in nursing.

Mooresville: Whitney Blair Brewer, associate of science degree from the medical assisting program; Amanda Sommer Alkire, associate of science in occupational therapy assistant; Melissa Brooke Caldwell, Jennifer Catherine Whitley (summa cum laude), associate degree in nursing.

Kannapolis: Justin Ryan Crayton, Angela Sanders Price (summa cum laude), diploma in medical assisting; Kristi Lin Pair (cum laude), Angie Renee Richardson, and Charity Michelle Upright (magna cum laude) associate of science in surgical technology; Brenda Sue McCauley, diploma in surgical technology; Ashley Elizabeth Bullock, Ashley Elizabeth Bullock, Metta Anne Nicole Pittman Burris, Pang Choua Cauble, Kelli Phillips Gandy, Katie Nicole Blevins Mohr, Jennifer Flowers Norris, Ashlee Nicole Menius Simmons, associate degree in nursing.

China Grove: Erin Elizabeth Moore, associate of science in surgical technology; Manalle Jamil Isbanioly Earnhardt, Angela Michelle Efird, Katie Marie Funderburk, Ryne Taylor Robbins, associate degree in nursing.

Landis: Tina Marie Porter, diploma in surgical technology.

Lexington: Jeanna Hill Sechrest (cum laude), diploma in surgical technology.

Gold Hill: Bonnie Kluttz Hill, associate degree in nursing.

Cleveland: Laura Shannon Eller Hutchison (cum laude), Meghan Elizabeth Turner, associate degree in nursing.

New London: Anne Barbara Tenney (cum laude), associate degree in nursing.

Wabash graduate

Jackson Rehm Price is a May 11 summa cum laude graduate of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind. He received a bachelor of arts degree with a biology and economics double major.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald G. Price of Salisbury, he also received the John Maurice Butler Prize for Scholarship and Character at the deans' senior breakfast held prior to graduation.

Seminary graduate

Wade Rouzer of Salisbury has received a master of arts in religion degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, S.C.

Rouzer is a member of St John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury. The service of commencement was held at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Columbia May 9.

Mars Hill graduates

Three local students are May 10 graduates of Mars Hill College.

They are Kristen Marie Newton of Cleveland, Lucas Paul Bruff and Derrick Shane Everhart, both of Lexington.
