HRL Paddlefest set for May 16-17

New events at the second annual HRL Paddlefest May 16-17 include a kayak fishing tournament, fishing derby for children, 100 geocaches, music and movies in Harison Park and a 10K race.

The free event is on High Rock Lake at Camp Walter Johnson in Denton. Participation in on-water activities requires a $5 fee, which is good for both days, and some events have separate fees.

Scout Troops 333 and 448 from the Central District will be helping with the event.
