Sacred Heart Catholic School is hosting two open houses for families interested in exploring educational opportunities for their children. The open houses will take place Thursday and Feb 5, also a Thursday, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Interested parents are encouraged to come and take a tour of the school.
"For over 125 years, we have offered a strong academic program of tradition and excellence. Our students flourish and develop a strong Christian faith that is steadfast and helps them along their life journey," Sister Annie Pagulayan, the school's principal, said in a prepared statement. Sacred Heart serves students in kindergarten through eighth-grade and is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the N.C. Department of Non-Public Instruction and the Diocese of Charlotte.
Sacred Heart Catholic School and Church are building a new campus on North Jake Alexander Boulevard. This new campus includes a new sanctuary building, new larger classrooms for the school (including a new library and media center), an expanded cafeteria and a new gymnasium. These new facilities are scheduled to open in the fall.
Personal tours are also available during the week by scheduling with the school office. Call 704-633-2841 for an appointment.
