  2015 RECORDS: Livingstone 5-4 (7-4, counting two NCAA non-counters). Edward Waters: 3-7.

   COACHES: Livingstone — Daryl Williams’ record is 13-17 in his fourth season. Four seasons prior to Williams taking over, the Blue Bears were 2-38. Edward Waters — Alvin Wyatt, Sr.

   LAST WEEK: Livingstone lost to Benedict, 5-3, in its season opener in Columbia, S.C. Edward Waters was at home but lost to visiting Morehouse, 19-13. Morehouse scored nine points in the last six minutes.

  LAST YEAR: Livingstone won its West End Classic, thumping Central International Univ., 40-0. The Blue Bears did not play Edward Waters in 2015.

  SERIES: Five games and the Tigers have won three — 2012, 42-36; 2011, 14-13; 1960, 25-7. Livingstone won in 2013 (23-20) and 2001 (14-7).

   WORTH MENTIONING: Edward Waters reinstated football in 2001 after a 34-year hiatus.

   WATCH FOR: Livingstone: Red-shirt freshman Thaddeus Bell gets his first start at quarterback after coming into last week’s game in relief of starter Dallas Bruton, another red-shirt freshman. The Blue Bears managed just 119 total yards in the loss.

   Edward Waters: QB Jerrod Thomas was 12-of-23 passing for 190 yards, including a 62-yard TD to Basil Spencer.
