The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center Diversity Team is presenting a program to honor and celebrate achievements in Black History. The event takes place Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. in the Social Room in Building 6.

The hallowed grounds of Historically Black Colleges or Universities (HBCUs) are rich in African American history, tradition and heritage. The theme of the event is “Hallowed Ground,” featuring a segment on “School Daze: Behind the Walls of an HBCU.”

Patients, staff and the community are welcome to attend and participate in this event.
