Candidate Trump should not be bullied or laughed at

Forget the Middle East conflict. I have been a hair stylist for 40-plus years . I am very understanding. But we have a world of half-crazy people wandering around the world scared to death — of everything.

The TV and press are bullying Trump to death. He’s only fighting back the only way he knows. He shouldn’t give interviews to the idiots out there.

Every day there is conflict in the U.S.A., anxiety from hell. It would upset an angel. Socially conscious liberals, I’m-so-educated types, use their so-called lifestyle to laugh at someone who has worked hard all their lives just to make ends meet.

Trump just happens to be very wealthy for his hard work. Lots laugh at him, but he is only a business man  who has been raised right and knows how the world works.

My friends are upset at his bullying ways, but he’s being laughed at and bullied also. What happened to the words “respect” and “patience” not to laugh when someone loses their temper? Instead, learn from it.

I paint (artist) and sometimes I get my temper up when I mess up, but I just go on. No big deal.

As long as Donald Trump is not expecting to be king, I’ll vote for him.

Improve primary system

I think Iowa and New Hampshire have too much influence in choosing our national leaders.

I would rather have four primary windows. The first would be the 13 states with the lowest population based on the most recent census, and also include theDistrict of Columbia and the other non-states (American Samoa and Puerto Rico have delegates). The second would be the next 13 states, then the next 12 and finally the 12 largest. I know some states hold their primaries on Saturday; states would have the option of voting on Tuesday or Saturday in their week.

This would mean a more diverse voting population in each primary. The first primary would be held in the first week of March, then the first week of April, May then June. You need the smallest states first or all the attention would be on only the larger ones. Party out of the White House holds convention in July and the incumbents in August.
