TRINITY — Salisbury’s basketball teams swept Trinity on Saturday in the Thanksgiving Headliners Challenge played at Wheatmore High.

After a slow start, Salisbury’s girls put together a 9-1 run, grabbed the lead by the end of the first quarter and held on to win, 52-44.
The Hornets (2-0) started 1-6 a year ago, so it was a confidence-builder. Freshman Bryanna Troutman led the scoring with 16 points. Tyzarea Alexander added 11.
Trinity fell to 0-3.
