Rowan weather: 90s today and tomorrow

Well, here we are, back to the 90s. Let’s hope there’s not too many more highs like that in the future.

Starting out at 66 with 100 percent humidity, it’s a bit muggy. We have a 30 percent chance of showers this afternoon, but it will be mostly sunny with a high near 91.

Tonight, we still have a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 66.

Thursday clears out with mostly sunny skies and a high again at 91. A light breeze will blow from the northeast in the afternoon.

For Thursday night, we have a 20 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low of 69.

For Friday, it’s back to the 30 percent chance of storms and showers, but with partly sunny skies and a high near 88; a north northeast wind will blow at 5-7 mph. Friday night also has a 30 percent chance of showers with a low of 68.

Saturday is another day with a 30 percent chance of showers and storms. It will be partly sunny and slightly cooler, with a high of 82. Saturday night has the same rain chance and a low of 65.

Sunday and Labor Day will be nice, with partly sunny skies on Sunday and a high near 83. Sunday night’s low will be 64.

For Labor Day, partly sunny again and near 85 degrees, with another low of 64.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 86.
