Salisbury Parks and Recreation is kicking off the summer season with two free series for all ages.

“Movies in the Park” starts Friday at City Park with “Big Hero 6.” Bring your chairs or blankets and enjoy a movie under the stars.  Entertainment begins at 8 p.m. followed by the movie at 9 p.m.  The event is sponsored by Fibrant and free to the public.

A new summer concert series, “Music at the Mural” debuts Saturday in the 100 block of West Fisher St. in front of the historic Mural.  This free event is sponsored by Go Burrito, Guitars USA and the Lettered Lilly.  Concerts will be held the last Saturday of each month through Oct. 31.  Feel free to bring a chair and enjoy some of the best in local musical talents.
