The 30th annual South Yadkin River Canoe and Kayak Race is Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

The race is sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 448. The race begins on the South Yadkin River at the US 601 bridge and river access area north of Salisbury. The course is approximately six miles long.
