KANNAPOLIS — Warmer weather has returned and so has Walk With a Doc.

The free monthly event, co-sponsored by Duke University’s MURDOCK Study and the Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute, will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 7 beginning with a discussion titled “What are triglycerides and how can I lower my levels?” followed by a stroll with local physicians. Participants gather at the Neal Davis Gazebo in Les Myers Community Park, 130 Lawndale Ave. SE in Concord.

The public is invited. Walk With a Doc is held the first Saturday of every month, except during bad weather. Come walk at your own pace with Duke-MURDOCK Study staff and local physicians and ask questions about heart health.
