Last chance to hear local radio personalities together?

Fans of WSTP 1490 AM radio’s morning news-and-talk show with Kent Bernhardt and Howard Platt will want to tune in today and Friday because it might be the last chance to hear the dynamic duo together on air.

The station was sold last year to the Catawba College Foundation, and Bernhardt’s and Platt’s contracts with the former station owner, Rowan Media Inc., expire Friday. It’s unknown whether the new ownership will continue the show.

“Kent and Howard in the morning” airs from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

A story about the men and their show will be in Friday’s edition of the Salisbury Post.
