Kannapolis man wins big in lottery

KANNAPOLIS — Leonard Hipkins will deposit more than $400,000 into his bank account after a big win in the N.C. Education Lottery
Hipkins, of Kannapolis, became the third person to win $1 million playing the $4, million Gold Bullion game. Hipkins scratched off the prize after buying the lucky ticket at the Rushco Food Store on North Cannon Boulevard.
