SALISBURY — Charles Lane Conrad, 51, Salisbury, died Monday (March 11, 2002) at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation.

Robert O. Dillon
CLEVELAND — Robert Oleen Dillon, 85, Cleveland, died Sunday (March 10, 2002) at his home after two years of declining health.
Born Sept. 3, 1916, in Davidson County, Mr. Dillon was a son of the late David E. and Odessa Swaim Dillon. Educated in the Cleveland schools, he was a carpenter and machinist. A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, he served during World War II.
He was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher and served on the building committee. He was a member and past master of the Scotch Ireland Masonic Lodge 154.
Survivors include wife Charlotte Kluttz Dillon, whom he married Oct. 14, 1944; son Hugh E. Dillon, Salisbury; daughter Barbara J.D. Hicks, Roswell, Ga.; brother Paul Dillon, Buena Park, Calif.; sisters Nan D. Turman, Mooresville, Thelma D. Overcash, Mount Ulla, and Dorothy D. McNeely, Amity; and two grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday, Cleveland First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Dancy, pastor, and the Rev. Kenneth Hyde, former pastor. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Burial, Cleveland Town Cemetery.
Visitation: 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday in the church fellowship hall. At other times, the family will be at the home.

Mary Kincaid Eagle
The funeral will be Wednesday for Mary Louise Kincaid Eagle, 65, Magnolia Gardens Extended Care Community, Spencer, who died Sunday (March 10, 2002) at Rowan Regional Medical Center after eight years of declining health and two weeks of serious illness.
Born April 5, 1936, in Rowan County, Mrs. Eagle was a daughter of the late Tommy and Sadie Shives Kincaid. She was educated in the Rowan County schools and graduated from Boyden High School.
Employed by Cannon Mills plant 7 for over 25 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.
A son, Billy Benton Eagle Jr., died Feb. 19, 2001.
Survivors include husband Billy Benton “Bill” Eagle, whom she married in 1957; sons Ricky L. Eagle, Salisbury, and Larry Dean Eagle; brother Frank Kincaid, Salisbury; sister Ruth Daniels, Salisbury; and eight grandchildren.
Services: Graveside, 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rowan Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Wilson Harris, former pastor, and the Rev. Ernest Mullins, pastor, and the Rev. Lee Cockerill, associate pastor, Trinity Wesleyan Church, Salisbury.

Jerry Harrell
ALBEMARLE — Jerry “Square Dealer” Harrell, 52, 303-A Center St., died Saturday (March 9, 2002) at Stanly Memorial Hospital.
Born May 31, 1949, in Anson County, Mr. Harrell was a son of the late Luther and Sadie Little Harrell. He was a graduate of Kingville High School and had been employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken.
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Ansonville.
Survivors include wife Leasina Benson Harrell, New London; sons Bracey Benson and Bryan Polk, both of Albemarle, and Corey McCray, Greensboro; daughters Domita Lily, Albemarle, and Tia M. and Dana S. Harrell, both of New London; brothers Eddie Little, Lexington, William L. Harrell, Capital Heights, Md., and Robert L. Harrell, Albemarle; sisters Elizabeth Hough, Albemarle, and Mary H. Ifedi and Alesia H. Cato, both of Durham; and six grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. today, Saints Delight Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. James E. Richardson, pastor. Burial, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery, Ansonville.

KANNAPOLIS — The funeral will be Wednesday for Nathilee Greene Leonard, 86, 517 Wright Ave., who died Sunday (March 10, 2002) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
Born Nov. 5, 1915, in Chesterfield County, S.C., Mrs. Leonard was a daughter of the late William Eddie and Bessie Elizabeth Miles Greene. In 1983, she retired from the sewing room at Cannon Mills plant one.
She was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church.
Her husband, Luther Calvin “Slim”Leonard, died Oct. 31, 1999.
Survivors include sons Eddie Carroll Leonard, of the home, and Luther MarvinLeonard, Mobile, Ala.; seven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ALBEMARLE — The funeral will be Wednesday for Frank Richardson Jr., 61, 610 Arey Ave., who died Saturday (March 9, 2002) at his home. Mr. Richardson was a retired employee of Alcoa Badin Works in Badin.
Born Dec. 12, 1940, in Anson County, he was a son of the late Frank and Pearl Simon Richardson. He was a graduate of Kingville High School and attended Virginia Tech.
A member of Corner Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, he served several years on the Pastor’s Appreciation Committee and entered the ministry in 1999.
Survivors include wife Myretta Flake Richardson; sons Eric J. Richardson, Mount Gilead, Gerald D. Richardson, Norwood, and Frank Richardson III, of the home; daughters Keisha E.
