Did Salisbury Mayor Susan Kluttz not realize how absurdly ridiculous she sounded in outlining for Salisbury the steps in helping to turn our local economy around? One of her suggestions states, “If a Salisburian belongs to some organization, he could make efforts to persuade the group to have its next regional, state or national meeting in Salisbury.”
This all said from Southern Pines, where Salisbury City Council members and staff were meeting for two days. Duh. So it’s not that much money? Granted, but there’s not much water in a drop either until it’s combined with a bucket full of other little droplets.
