Keep Landis’ leaders

SALISBURY POST

I would like to commend the current Landis Board of Aldermen and Mayor Fred Steen for their dedication to and the excellent job they have done on behalf of the residents of Landis. This board has been forward-looking in its approach to acquiring new sources of revenue for the town — the bulk of which has been of little or no cost to current residents. This board and mayor have proven to be a well-balanced team — very representative of the town itself. If re-elected in its entirety, I am confident you can continue to expect improvements that will benefit us all while preserving the excellent quality of life we enjoy here.

Please come out on Tuesday, Nov. 6, to exercise your right and duty to vote. The ballot will instruct that you may vote for four aldermen and one candidate for mayor. Please consider re-electing as aldermen: Gary Beaver, William Parks “Will” Beaver, Dennis Brown and Craig Sloop ... and for mayor, Fred Steen. Your vote is important and can help ensure an increasingly bright future for the town of Landis.

— Rita Goins
