Richard A. Cauble
Richard Adrian Cauble, 71, Sebastian, Fla., formerly of Salisbury, died Thursday (Nov. 22, 2001) at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, after a brief illness.
Born Aug. 29, 1930, in Salisbury, Mr. Cauble was a son of Faye E. Cauble, Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Marvin
Cauble. He was a 1957 graduate of North Carolina State University and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served in the Korean War. For 10 years, he was vice president and director of engineering with Mackay Engineering Division of ITT Inc., Raleigh.
He was a member of VFWPost 10210, American Legion Post 189 and the Elk’s Lodge in Sebastian, Fla. Also a member of United Church of Sebastian, he was the former president of the Men’s Club and a volunteer at the Lord’s Table.

Betty Seymour Dodd
The funeral will be Wednesday for Betty Seymour Dodd, 80, Autumn Care Nursing Home, who died Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 12, 1921, in Hagerstown, Md., Mrs. Dodd was a daughter of the late Vernon and Margaret Curey Seymour. She was employed in the Rowan County Tax Office and was a member of Salisbury Christian Fellowship Church.
Her husband, John Perry Dodd, died Aug. 3, 1966, and a daughter, Linda Van Hoy, died Nov. 23, 1998.

Billy Miller
The funeral will be Wednesday for Billy Miller, 70, Salisbury, who died Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at Rowan Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health and two months of serious illness.
Born June 12, 1931, in Davidson County, Mr. Miller, a son of the late John G. and Emma Gullett Miller, was educated in the Rowan County schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a Baptist and was retired from the County of Rowan.
Survivors include wife Margaret Ann Hoffner Miller, whom he married Feb. 28, 1953.

Henrietta “Hen” Hogue Moser, 50, 516 S. CaldwellSt., died Sunday (Nov. 25, 2001) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, after a period of serious illness.
Born Aug. 12, 1951, in Rowan County, Mrs. Moser was a daughter of Geneva Blair Hogue, Philadelphia, Pa., and the late John Henry Hogue. She was a 1969 graduate of West Rowan High School and was last employed at Brightmoor Nursing Home.
She was a member of Cedar Grove AMEZion Church, the choir, Parent Body Missionaries and Lay Council.
Her husband, Larry Moser, died in 1975.

A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Newton was a son of the late Clarence A. and Mary Sanders Newton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

CHINA GROVE — William Bernice “T” Stubbs, 81, 129 Third Ave., died Tuesday (Nov. 27, 2001) at Liberty Common Nursing Center.
Born April 23, 1920, in Marlboro County, S.C., Mr. Stubbs was the son of William T. and Martha Jan Milligan Stubbs. He was educated in the Marlboro County schools and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He retired from China Grove Cotton Mill, No. 3 card room and was an active member of South China Grove Church of God.
