Rhinehardt Barnhardt, 86, West A Street, died Thursday (March 29, 2001) at Big
Elm Nursing Home.
Born July 6, 1914, in Cabarrus
County, Mrs. Barnhardt was a daughter of the late Charles and Inez Barringer
Rhinehardt. She retired from Cannon Mills.
Her first husband, Dessie Bell
Poteat, died Jan. 26, 1976, and her second husband, Mark K. Barnhardt, died Jan.
16, 1998.
Survivors include sister Freida
Saunders, Concord.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday,
Concordia Lutheran Church, China Grove, conducted by the Rev. G. Wayne Sipe and
the Rev. Hoke Ritchie. The body will be placed in the church at 1. Burial,
church cemetery.

William ‘Bill’ Seats
MOCKSVILLE — The funeral will
be Saturday for William Francis “Bill” Seats, 70, Farmington Road, who died
Wednesday (March 28, 2001) at his home.
Born June 13, 1930, in Davie
County, Mr. Seats, a son of the late William Hampton and Emma Pilcher Seats, was
a 1948 graduate of Farmington High School. He was a retired dairy farmer.
A member of Farmington Volunteer
Fire Department and Davie County Farm Bureau, he attended Farmington United
Methodist Church.
Survivors include wife Mary Ruth
Boger Seats; son Harold Seats, Mocksville; daughter Rebecca S. Allen,
Mocksville; brothers Leonard Seats, Mocksville, and John H.Seats, Winter Garden,
Fla.; sisters Bessie S. Smitherman, East Bend, and Dianne S. Correll,
Mocksville; and two grandchildren.

Saturday for Mary Edna R. Moss, 63, 135 Mallard Lane, who died Wednesday (March
28, 2001) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord, after a week of serious illness.
Born Sept. 25, 1937, in Cabarrus
County, Mrs. Moss was a daughter of the late Griffin and Hattie Rachael Sellers
Richardson.
A Baptist, in her earlier years
she worked at Cannon Mills Co. plant 1, Kannapolis. She retired from Collins-Aikman
Co., Faith, after a number of years.
Survivors include husband Will
Moss Jr.; daughters Veronica Moss, of the home, and Wanda Kay Houston,Rockwell;
brothers William A. Richardson, China Grove, and Donald Ray
Richardson,Kannapolis; sisters Ella Louise Walker, Jacksonville, Fla., and Nina
Sue Talavera, Modesto, Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.
Born Dec. 26, 1918, in Davie
County, Mrs. Sipes was a daughter of the late Oscar and Molly Shores Campbell.
She was a homemaker.

Grove; sisters Peggy Corbett, Garner, and Betty Stinson, Salem, Ohio; brother
