Born March 11, 1925, in Davie County, Mrs. Boger,
a daughter of the late Lewis M. and Ida Adams Seamon, was a homemaker. She was a
Baptist.
Survivors include husband Baxter A. Boger; son
Baxter A. Boger Jr., Salisbury; daughter Ruby Joan Corum, Mocksville; brother
Vestal Seamon, Rome, Ga.; sister Nellie Murray, Winston-Salem; six
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

was a daughter of the late Ebb and Sarah Sides Burleson. She was a member of St.
Stephen’s Lutheran Church.

Corrie McElroy Sinclair Linker, 84, a resident of Big Elm Nursing Center and
formerly of Prince Street, who died Wednesday (Feb. 28, 2001) at NorthEast
Medical Center, Concord.
Born Aug. 16, 1916, in Madison County, Ga., Mrs.
Linker was a daughter of the late Johnny Robert and Mary Elmira Collins McElroy.
A homemaker, she kept children in her home for many years.
She was a member of First Evangelical Methodist
Church.
Her first husband, Charlie “Red” Sinclair,
died Feb. 28, 1982. Her second husband, Webb Linker, also preceded her in death.

Davis, Kannapolis, and Ruth Pace and Gloria and Frances McElroy, all of Georgia;

Born March 12, 1909, in Rowan County, Mrs. Puntch
was a daughter of the late William and Bessie Sechler. She had worked at Cannon
Mills Co. sample room and at Belk’s, Kannapolis. A member of Trinity United
Methodist Church and the Exodus Class, she was active with the United Methodist
Women.
Her husband,Ralph Odell Puntch, died April 9,
1993.
Survivors include sons Leslie Puntch, Kannapolis,
and Donald Puntch, Charlotte; half sister Betty Ritchie, Kannapolis; half
brother David Sechler, Kannapolis; and one granddaughter.

was a daughter of the late Charlie Howard and Vera Lee Carter Herlocker. She was

sons Billy Patrick Smith Jr. and Charlie Lee Smith, both of New London, and

Catherine “Cat” Blackwelder Webb, 81,

Born Jan. 21, 1920, in China Grove, Mrs. Webb, a
daughter of the late John and Cora Stirewalt Blackwelder, was educated in the
China Grove Farm Life School.
Formerly employed by Cannon Mills, Kannapolis,
she retired in 1982 from Parrish Bakery. She was a member of Salem Lutheran
Church and WELCA.
Her husband, Mike Webb, died Dec. 30, 1990.
Survivors include son Michael F. Webb, Charlotte;
sisters Loma Garver, China Grove, and Myrtle Ritchie,Kannapolis; and one
granddaughter.
