I would like to commend each child that played for
the Spencer Little League.
The children worked hard to become the best that
they can be. It takes a lot of work and tears on their part, but it is a great
way to show them discipline.
They make new friends and learn sportsmanship from
their coaches. The coaches and umps take a lot of abuse from parents, but it is
all done under discipline. The parents discuss bad calls but no one argues about
them.
There is one kid who intimidates the other children
by pitching the ball way too fast for Little League. He thinks he is so good,
but the other children are afraid of his pitching. If he hits one of the
children and seriously injures someone, it will be a lesson he doesn’t want to
learn. He is also a bad sport when he loses. I guess there is an exception to
everything we try to accomplish in life.
The other children deserve all A’s in my book.
