KANNAPOLIS — Gladys Beebe
Caudill, 72, 2410 Pine Cape Court, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, died Thursday
(June 14, 2001) at the home of her son, Dr. Dennis Caudill, with whom she was
making her home. She had been in declining years for two years and seriously ill
for a week.
Born Aug. 26, 1928, in Burgoon,
Ohio, Mrs. Caudill was a daughter of the late Harry Herbert and Irene Bickel
Beebe. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Clay P.Caudill, died
July 1, 1989, and a son, Stephen J.Caudill, died Nov. 15, 2000.
Survivors, in addition to her
son, include brother Richard H.Beebe, Willard, Ohio; two grandsons; and a
step-granddaughter.
Services will be at Turner
Funeral Home, Shelby, Ohio. Burial at Mansfield Memorial Park, Mansfield,Ohio.

Norma Goodnight Freeze, 86, 3075 Goodnight Road, who died Friday (June 15, 2001)
at her home.
Born Aug. 9, 1914, in Rowan
County, Mrs. Freeze was a daughter of the late Marvin “Nook” and Nellie
Fowler Goodnight. She was educated in the Rowan County schools. Retired from
Cannon Mills, she was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
Her husband,William V. Freeze,
died in 1987.

ROCKWELL — Megan Lynn McQueen,
10, 1780 Organ Church Road, died Thursday (June 14, 2001) at Carolinas Medical
Center in Charlotte from injuries she suffered in an automobile accident
Wednesday.
Born June 12, 1991, in
Mecklenburg County, she was daughter of Beth Fisher Prymock of Rockwell and
Timothy Wayne McQueen of China Grove. A student at Rockwell Elementary School,
she played soccer through the Rowan County Youth Soccer Association.
Her stepfather, Richard
“Rick” Prymock, also died in the accident and their services will be held
together.

Monday for Zelma Bost Taylor, 93, who died Friday (June 15, 2001) at Rowan
Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born March 28, 1908, in Rowan
County, she was the daughter of the late Richard G. and Lizzie Goodman Bost.
Educated in the Rowan County schools, Mrs. Taylor had retired from Rockwell
Casket Co., where she had spent 38 years.
She was a member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church, where she was active in WELCA and the Arthur Shipton Sunday
School Class. She was also a member of the Rockwell Senior Citizens Club and
Rockwell Chapter No. 317, Order of the Eastern Star.
Her husband, Carl D. Taylor, died
Jan. 31, 1977.
Survivors include a number of
nieces, nephews and cousins.

14, 2001) at her home.
Born Dec. 5, 1917, in Montgomery
County, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Pearl Davis Ingram.
Educated in the Stanly County schools, she was a cook in the Rowan-Salisbury
school system.
She was a member of Henderson
Grove Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board and the Kitchen
Committee. A Sunday school teacher, she also sang with the Spiritual Chorus and
the Gospel Choir.
Survivors include husband Noah
Wiseman Jr.; sons James Neely, Milton, Fla., Noah Wiseman III, Salisbury, and
Noel Wiseman, Greensboro; brother William Thomas Ingram Jr., Salisbury; 15
grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
