Woman enters library seeking help for stab wound


SALISBURY POST


 

A woman who had been stabbed walked into Rowan Public Library shortly before 11 a.m. today and asked for help.

The woman, calm and wearing a torn red shirt, apparently was stabbed two or three blocks from the main library, which is on Fisher Street.

After asking for help, she walked outside again.

Paramedics, two Salisbury police officers and a Salisbury fire engine responded.The paramedics took the woman to Rowan Regional Medical Center.

The woman’s name was not available late this morning.
