Question: Why isn’t Paul Harvey on WSAT Radio News anymore? His voice started getting very raspy, and all of a sudden he had substitutes all the time. I want to know if he is sick or dying or what. This comes from ABC Radio in Chicago.

Answer: Chris Berry, vice president, radio, ABC News, New York, said that Harvey has been off the air for several weeks while battling a chronic case of laryngitis. His voice is returning.
A battery of tests were administered earlier this month by doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. The doctors didn’t find anything serious. They believe his vocal chords were weakened by a virus he contracted in May.
Harvey will undergo an outpatient procedure to strengthen his vocal chord and is expected to be back on the air after a few weeks of rest — probably by the end of summer.
Question: Where is the parking area for people who use the park on Park Avenue and Boundary Street?
There is no parking area there. Signs there say “no parking.”
My wife and I use the park a lot to walk around and exercise. We don’t have anywhere to park.
I’m afraid if I continue to park where I’m parking, I will get a ticket for parking in a no-parking area. I would appreciate it if there is some way I could find out where to park.

Answer: Planner Lynn Raker of the city says it’s OK for users of Cannon Park to park in a small push-out area mid way in the block on Park Avenue adjacent to the park. That’s probably where you’ve been parking.
Otherwise, motorists traveling to the park will have to rely on the on-street parking located on the opposite sides of the streets that border Cannon Park.
Parallel parking is permitted on the north side of Park Avenue, the east side of Boundary Street, the west side of Clay Street and the south side of Liberty Street.
Raker acknowledges that parking was not a top priority for Cannon Park, meant mostly as a neighborhood park, which most users would walk to from their homes.
