347 Cedar Brook Drive, formerly of Chelmsford, Mass., died Tuesday (July 3,
2001) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
Survivors include daughter, Donna Lemire,
Kannapolis.
Services: Mrs. Albano will be buried at St.
Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford, Mass. Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia, is in
charge of arrangements.

The funeral will be Sunday for Andrew Angle, 59,
930 Locke St., who died Tuesday (July 3, 2001) at Rowan Regional Medical Center
after a one-day illness.

Ina P. Daves
KANNAPOLIS — Funeral services will be Saturday
for Ina Parker Daves, 82, 1410 Huntingdon Road, who died Wednesday (July 4,
2001) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
Born April 19, 1919, in Cabarrus County, Mrs.
Daves was a daughter of the late Carl R. and Lida Hargett Parker.
She attended Montreat College and was a member of
First Presbyterian Church, where she was active in many ministries, including
the choir.
After retiring from the data processing
department of Cannon Mills Co., Mrs. Daves became an active volunteer with
Cooperative Christian Ministry. She also supported the Democratic Party in
Cabarrus County and served as a precinct registrar. She was a former president
of the Junior Women’s Club and a founding board member of the Kannapolis
Cemetery Association.
Survivors include husband F.J. Daves; daughter
Lida Rebecca Daves-Schneider, Upland, Calif.; son Robert P. Daves, Minneapolis,
Minn.; brother Clinton Parker, High Point; and four grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Lady’s Funeral Home
chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Joseph R. Crawford. Burial, Carolina Memorial
Park.
Visitation: 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Edith O’Neal Hellard
COOLEEMEE — Edith O’Neal Hellard, 93, Watts
Street, died Wednesday (July 4, 2001) at Meadowbrook Terrace of Davie.
Born April 6, 1908, in Davie County, Mrs. Hellard
was a son of the late Thomas and Mattie Dyson O’Neal. She was retired from
Erwin Mills and was a member of the Cooleemee Church of God, where she sang in
the choir and taught Sunday school in the children’s department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy V.
Hellard, in 1981, and by a daughter, Cazzie Drew Hellard, and a son, Marvin
Hellard.
Survivors include son Henry Hillard, San Antonio,
Texas.

John Lee Honeycutt
John Lee Honeycutt, 74, Salisbury, died Thursday
(July 5, 2001) at Hefner VA Medical Center after a period of declining health.
Born Aug. 6, 1926, in Davidson County, Mr.
Honeycutt was a son of the late Lee and Ada Poteat Honeycutt. He was educated in
Davidson County schools and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. Honeycutt was of the Baptist faith and
retired from Davie Tree Co., where he was a foreman.
Survivors include wife Lillie Williams Honeycutt,
whom he married July 2, 1948; sons Robert, Chuck, Sam and Johnny Lee Honeycutt
Jr., all of Salisbury; daughter Rebecca Haynes, Salisbury; brothers Tillman
Honeycutt, Salisbury, Tony Honeycutt, Granite Quarry, and Fred Honeycutt,
Elizabeth City; sisters Wilma Gordon, Gastonia, Osie Marie Kilmer, Statesville,
and Ellen Honeycutt, China Grove; 11 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, graveside, Rowan
Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Bob Eller, with graveside rites by the
Rowan County Veterans Council.
Visitation: 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Lyerly
