MOUNT PLEASANT — Eva Suffair Barringer, 96, Mount Pleasant, died Sunday (Jan. 28, 2001) at her home.

Raymond Honeycutt

MOORESVILLE —The funeral is today for Raymond Boyce Honeycutt, 64, 285 Corriher Grange Road, who died Saturday (Jan. 27, 2001) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.

Born Nov. 20, 1936, in Rowan County, Mr. Honeycutt was a son of Lloyd Honeycutt and the late Syble White Honeycutt. Educated in the Rowan County schools, he was a maintenance worker for National Starch. He was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife Phyllis O. Honeycutt; son Jerry Ray Honeycutt, Rockwell; brothers Donald Honeycutt, China Grove, and Paul Honeycutt, Enochville; and sister Lois Wyatt, Atlanta.

Services: 4 today, West Corinth Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Randy Crowell. Burial, church cemetery.
