Services: 4 p.m. Sunday at Good Hope United Methodist Church.
Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Lenard ‘Slim’ Reid
Lenard Lee “Slim” Reid, 77, 419 E. Bank St., died Friday (April 13, 2001) at Rowan Regional Medical Center after being seriously ill for six weeks.

Geneva ‘Moe’ Davis
Geneva Stroud “Moe” Davis, 75, 3557 E. Ridge Road, Spencer Forest community, died Wednesday (April 11, 2001) at Rowan Regional Medical Center after being ill for two years.
Born Sept. 23, 1925, in Spindale, she was the daughter of the late Addie Mae Stroud Moore and the late Joe Lee Stroud. She attended Dunbar High School in Lexington and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
Mrs. Davis had retired from Rowan Regional Medical Center after 28 years of service. She attended Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Her husband, James Davis, died in 1965.
Survivors include sons David Davis of the home and Robert Givens Jr. of Salisbury; daughters Mattie L. Wallace, Jacquline L. Walker and Gail Cherry, all of Salisbury, and Addie Mae Judge of Spartanburg S.C.; and 13 grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Noble & Kelsey Funeral Home, led by the Rev. Franklin Leroy Clark. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation: 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
