Addison Smith’s late rally last Sunday in the Crescent Men’s Golf Association club championship tourney was amazing.

Smith gained three strokes with a par on the par-3 15th, where Martin made triple bogey. Smith then birdied 16, 17 and 18, and Martin parred each hole. That left the golfers tied at 159.

A sudden-death playoff was held on the par-5 No. 1 hole, where Smith won with a par.

Martin wound up the low net winner in the championship flight with a 155, while Corey Basinger received second low gross with 162.

Other gross winners were winner Dwight Bradshaw and runner-up Wes Payne in the first flight and winner Wayne Tate and runner-up Bob Kimball in the senior flight.
