Clinton Flake

Clinton Flake, 72, 635 Statesville Blvd., died Thursday (May 18, 2000) at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Born May 12, 1928, in Jesup, Ga., Mr. Flake was a son of the late Leta and Charlie Flake. He was a tree surgeon in Florida before retiring and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include daughter Peggy F. Riddle, Salisbury; sister Lottie Mae Russ, Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services: Graveside, 2 p.m. Tuesday, City Memorial Park,conducted by the Rev. Neill Shaw, minister of Milford Hills United Methodist Church.

Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Monday at Summersett Funeral Home.
