her residence.
Born Dec. 18, 1926, in Forsyth County, Mrs. Graham
was daughter of the late Ida Mae Pegram and O.A. Wrights. A graduate of the Cleveland
schools, she was a homemaker. She was a member of South River Church of Christ.
Survivors include husband Clyde Graham, whom she
married Sept. 20, 1947; sons Gary Graham, Cleveland, and Tommy Graham, Salisbury;
daughters Mrs. Howard (Faye) Keziah, Mrs. Donald (Bonnie) Patterson and Mrs. Kail (Sandra)
Hartley, all of Salisbury; brother Frank Wrights, Salisbury; sisters Mrs. W. Glenn (Betty)
Graham, Salisbury, Jewel Snyder and Dorothy Brandon, both of Clemmons, Mrs. Clifford
(Pearl) Graham Ketchie, Cleveland, and Ophelia Pete Ashley, King; and 10
grandchildren.
Services: 3 p.m. Sunday, Summersett Memorial
Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Minister Carl Rothrock and the Rev. Minister Don Sloan.
Burial, South River Church of Christ.

Born April 11, 1913, in Rowan County, Ms. Hobbs
was a daughter of the late Jesse Bevard and Minnie Lee Rogers Hobbs. She worked in the
winding department of Templon Spinning Mills for 27 years.
Ms. Hobbs is survived by a number of nieces and
nephews.

Jerry Jed Honbarrier, 63, Stokes Ferry Road, died
Thursday (March 2, 2000) at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 17, 1936, in Rowan County, Mr.
Honbarrier was a son of the late Bessie Mae Sowers and Charlie Jason Honbarrier. Educated
in the Granite Quarry schools, he was employed with Cannon Mills until he retired due to
disability. Mr. Honbarrier was a member of Dunns Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include son Jerry Ray Honbarrier;
daughter Betty Lou Honbarrier; brother Charles Thomas Honbarrier; and sister Joyce H.
Hoffman, all of Salisbury.
Services: Memorial service, 2 p.m. today, Dunns
Mountain Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Young, Morning Star Baptist Church,
and the Rev. Ed Bitner, Oakland Heights Baptist. Graveside service, 1:30 p.m. today, Dunns

Born Aug. 9, 1943, in Gaston County, Mr. Mauldin
was a son of the late Alberta Lefler and Lester Clay Mauldin. Employed by Blythe
Construction Co., he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include wife Wanda Elaine Smith Mauldin;
sons Gene and Joseph Mauldin Jr, both of Gastonia, and Jon Morton, Albemarle; daughter
Ellis Morton, Albemarle; brothers L.C. Mauldin Jr., Lincolnton, and Larry Mauldin,
Belmont; and six grandchildren.

Born Sept. 26, 1908, in Cabarrus County, she was a
daughter of the late Julia Tucker and John P. Linker. She was a homemaker and a member of
Center Grove United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Albert Lee Mauney, died in 1972.
Survivors include daughters Betty Crayton,
Salisbury, and Faye Whitley Earnhardt, Mount Pleasant; sister Dot Smith, Concord; three
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
