| Fourth of July closings

Most government agencies will be closed on Tuesday in observance of the Fourth of July.Heres a list of whats closed Tuesday and an update on
garbage pickup schedules:
- All North Carolina state government offices, including
courts.
- All Rowan ABC stores.
- All Rowan County offices and all branches of Rowan Public
Library.
- The Rowan County landfill and convenience sites.
- All Cabarrus County offices.
- All Cabarrus County ABC stores.
- Cannon Memorial Library, all branches.
- All China Grove town offices; no effect on garbage
collection.
- Cleveland Town Hall. Trash and recycling schedule will not
be affected.
- Cooleemee Town Hall; trash and recycling for the town will
be picked up as scheduled, late Monday night or Tuesday morning.
- East Spencer Town Hall. Garbage pickup will follow its
normal schedule. The Board of Aldermen will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday. July 10, instead of
its regular monthly meeting date of July 3.
- Faith Town Hall. Trash and garbage pickup schedules will
remain the same.
- Granite Quarry Town Hall. Trash and recycling will be
unchanged.
- All Kannapolis city offices; no effect on garbage
collection.
- Landis town offices; recycling pickup will be done on
Wednesday.
- Rockwell Town Hall. Trash and garbage pickup will not be
affected.
- Salisbury City Hall and other offices will be closed. City
buses will not run Tuesday. Garbage and recycling collections will follow their normal
schedules. Salisbury City Council has moved its regularly scheduled meeting from 4 p.m.
Tuesday to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
- Spencer Town Hall. Monday and Tuesday collections will be on
Monday. There will be no service on Tuesday and the schedule will return to normal on
Wednesday.
