UNCC student interns at Post

SALISBURY POST
           
Jill McCartney of Charlotte is working as an intern in the Salisbury Post newsroom this summer.

Originally from Livingston, N.J., McCartney moved to Charlotte at age 10.

She graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School in 1996 and went on to study communications and journalism at UNC-Charlotte.

McCartney has worked for UNCC’s student paper, The University Times, for four years, serving as editor in chief from May 1999 to May 2000.

She plans to graduate from UNCC in December.
